Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or

Tues-Friday Requirements :

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON

( NCTRC )

OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION

( CBRPC )

Responsibilities:

+ Assess patient needs + Consider medical records + Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones + Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most + Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients + Document a patient's progress during their activities + Other duties assigned my supervisor If interested, please apply through this job post.
