Our caring and passionate team at Passages has successfully helped thousands of people dependent on drugs and alcohol. We are looking for someone to join out team as an Activities Coordinator who is responsible for planning, developing, scheduling, and implementing a meaningful comprehensive activity program appropriate to the needs and interests of the residents. The activities program must meet the residents needs and wide range of abilities. This is a safety-sensitive position. Location:
In-Person, Malibu, California Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, schedule, coordinate and provide indoor and outdoor activities/social programs, both onsite and offsite, including shopping trips, creative, educational, and recreational programs in compliance with policies and procedure Personally lead, engage in, and encourage resident participation in activities, excursions, and special events Transport clients and appropriate equipment to offsite activities Interact professionally with residents, co-workers and vendors Ensure resident compliance with facility rules and guidelines Other duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/ Experience /
Credentials:
Certification in Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates or other relevant discipline preferred Bachelor's degree preferred High School diploma or G.E.D. required Valid California Driver License with a good driving record (as determined in the companys sole discretion) required Other This position requires frequent driving, including driving clients. This is a safety-sensitive position. Must satisfy post-offer, pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, reference check. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy. Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet 24/7/365 facility needs
