Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY
Ever Well is searching for a caring and energetic Therapeutic Program Advisor to join our growing team. The Therapeutic Program Advisor is a major contributor to our core mission and serves as a direct line of support within our residential communities, delivering structured therapeutic programming and creating a safe, nurturing environment for adults experiencing significant mental or emotional challenges. This role is not administrative. It is hands-on, relationship-driven, and central to our residents' daily experience of recovery. SCHEDULE OPTIONS
Sunday-Thursday Tuesday-Saturday 9:00AM-6:00PM Weekends and Holidays as Scheduled
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and conduct structured activities ensuring all residents participate in accordance with their interests and abilities. Provide personal assistance, emotional support, and direct care to residents. Identify and report changes in resident circumstances, behaviors, and events. Implement standards of care and support staff in working effectively and efficiently with residents. Participate in program development and organizational planning to ensure care remains responsive to emerging resident needs. Complete required documentation in a proficient and timely manner. May provide direction to Direct Care Staff as a lead staff member when applicable.
REQUIREMENTS - WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A
dependable, people-first professional with direct care experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals on their path to recovery in a licensed residential setting.
REQUIRED - EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required; formal education in recreation and activity planning preferred. Minimum one year of experience providing planned group activities. Minimum three years of full-time, direct-care experience with individuals with mental illness. Demonstrated experience at a facility licensed by the California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing program. Valid California driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
REQUIRED - ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
Excellent team player and communicator with all levels of staff. Ability to read and understand documents; write simple memos and reports; and speak effectively with residents and staff. Ability to engage and communicate with residents in an empathetic manner. Ability to work effectively with persons differing in value systems, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, language capabilities, and disabilities. Ability to follow directions and work within a program and systems structure. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and emergency situations. Exercises good judgment and acts calmly in emergency situations. High emotional and collective awareness. Great sense of humor and values humility. Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States.
REQUIRED - CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Valid California driver's license, current automobile insurance, and good driving record. Ability to pass an employment physical. Current TB test (no negative results within the last 12 months). Must be able to obtain and maintain required background clearances.
