Company Overview Communities Advocating for Resident Empowerment (C.A.R.E.) is dedicated to supporting residents living in affordable housing communities by providing comprehensive human services, educational programs, and advocacy. Since its founding, C.A.R.E. has been committed to fostering self-empowerment, economic independence, and community involvement among low and moderate-income residents. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Temporary Activities Coordinator to bring engaging recreational activities to our residents at Sterling Village Apartments. This part-time role involves planning and facilitating after school programing and adult education. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and adults in an educational setting. Duties Coordinate weekly activity schedules ensuring a diverse range of recreational options Assist residents with participation in activities, encouraging social interaction and inclusion Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes mental health and social connection Collaborate with staff to identify residents' needs Maintain activity supplies, record participation data, and prepare reports on program outcomes Skills Proven experience in event planning Strong communication skills to effectively engage residents and collaborate with team members Experience managing schedules and organizing multiple activities simultaneously Compassionate attitude with a passion for enhancing quality of life for children and youth through creative programming
Pay:
