We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and energetic Community Life Enrichment Associate to join our team and help make each day special for the seniors who call our community home. What You'll Do As a Community Life Enrichment Associate, you'll help create engaging experiences that support the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive well-being of our residents. Every interaction is an opportunity to brighten someone's day.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with planning and leading engaging daily activities and special events. Encourage resident participation while respecting individual interests and abilities. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Support group activities including games, crafts, music, fitness classes, educational programs, and social gatherings. Escort residents to and from activities as needed. Help decorate for holidays, themed events, and community celebrations. Assist with community outings and transportation preparations when applicable. Document resident participation and communicate observations with the Life Enrichment team. Collaborate with all departments to create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community environment. Maintain activity supplies and ensure activity areas remain organized and inviting. Provide companionship, encouragement, and compassionate support throughout the day. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who is: Passionate about serving older adults Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic Creative and enjoys planning fun experiences Patient, compassionate, and respectful A strong communicator and team player Dependable, organized, and flexible Comfortable working with residents of varying physical and cognitive abilities Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in senior living, recreation, customer service, childcare, hospitality, education, or activities is preferred but not required. Experience working with older adults or individuals living with dementia is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and activity participation. Must successfully complete all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
