The FBLA Sponsor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the school's FBLA chapter. This role involves guiding students in leadership development, business skill-building, and competitive event preparation while ensuring alignment with school policies and FBLA guidelines.Salary:
Stipend starting at $4000.Key Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise FBLA chapter meetings and activities Recruit and encourage student participation in FBLA Advise students on leadership opportunities and competitive events Coordinate preparation for regional, state, and national competitions Manage chapter membership, registration, and required documentation Oversee fundraising activities and budget in accordance with school policies Collaborate with school administration and staff to support program goals Ensure student conduct and safety during meetings, events, and travel Maintain communication with parents, students, and school leadershipQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field preferred Valid teaching license Knowledge of business education principles and leadership development Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage extracurricular activities outside regular school hoursPreferred Skills:
Experience with FBLA or similar student organizations Event planning and coordination experience Ability to motivate and mentor high school studentsWork Schedule:
Involves meetings, events, and travel outside the regular school dayReports To:
Director of Activities Benefits include: PERA retirement, and other optional benefit elections. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week as defined by their position are also eligible for the district's health insurance.Additional information:
