Responsibilities:

As an Activities Aide, you are a vital force in the daily life of our residents. Working closely with the Activities Director, you will: Plan, organize, and lead therapeutic activity programs for groups and individuals, tailored to residents' physical, cognitive, and social needs Assist and adapt activities to meet the needs of residents with physical limitations or cognitive impairments (including dementia). Assist the Activities Director in developing a dynamic, person-centered programming calendar Prepare supplies, participant lists, and activity schedules Assist with special events and holiday celebrations Escort residents to and from activities and community outings — safely and enthusiastically Conduct group activities with energy, creativity, and genuine engagement Maintain accurate daily participation records to support resident care planning as well as communicate resident preferences, behaviors, and changes to the Activities Director and or care team Attend required educational offerings in patient activities and resident care.
