Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Lifestyles Director for a planned large scale HOA. The Lifestyles Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs and activities that enhance the overall quality of life for our community members. This role involves coordinating a wide range of recreational, social, cultural, and educational activities that cater to the diverse interests and preferences of our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a passion for enriching the lives of others, and a knack for creating engaging experiences.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive calendar of events and activities that promote social interaction, wellness, and personal enrichment for residents. Collaborate with residents, staff, and community partners to identify interests, preferences, and needs, ensuring that programs are tailored to meet diverse demographic groups. Coordinate logistics for events, including scheduling, budgeting, marketing, and staffing. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to assist with activity implementation and resident engagement. Maintain accurate records of program attendance, feedback, and outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and inform future planning. Stay current with trends in senior living, leisure, and wellness programming to continuously enhance offerings and adapt to evolving resident interests. Foster a sense of community and belonging by creating opportunities for residents to connect, build relationships, and support one another. Serve as a resource and advocate for residents, addressing concerns, providing support, and facilitating access to services and resources as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards related to program delivery and facility operations. Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance and contribute to the overall success of the organization.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in recreation management, gerontology, social work, or related field preferred. Previous experience in event planning, recreational programming, or senior living preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine interest in supporting the well-being of seniors. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. CPR/First Aid certification may be required. The Lifestyles Director plays a vital role in fostering a vibrant and fulfilling living environment for our residents.
