Job Description

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Activity Therapy Leader at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. Salary $44,116.80
Job Grade D Job Summary:
The Activity Therapy Leader position is assigned to provide active treatment groups on the West Unit in Adult Mental Health. The person who fills this position will be assigned to cover a rotating holiday schedule, facilitating daily groups, complete group notes and weekly documentation, as well as Activity Therapy Department duties such as: planning, organizing and implementing campus wide events and participating in weekly Activity Therapist Staff meetings. High School diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience in a related field; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Health Aide 2 (HCS021) or position equivalent.
