Monday - Friday, with availability as needed for agency operations Job Summary The Director/Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the home care agency and for tasks and duties integral to the smooth running and administration of the agency. The governing body directs these services. The Director/Administrator assumes responsibility for finding potential providers as well as clients. This position plays an integral role in providing open communication, keeping the agency progressing, and working toward quality home environments for the aging population. This leadership position is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about home care services, operational excellence, and ensuring quality care for the aging population. Accountable To All State Regulating Agencies (Medicaid, DHR, DCH, Ombudsman), Consumers, Legal Guardians Duties and Responsibilities Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following: Full authority and responsibility for the operations of United Homecare Center LLC Supervise all direct care staff Ensure all staff required training is completed Plan all staff meetings Carry out organizational and administrative duties Process new admissions other than skilled nursing Represent the agency in a loyal, caring, professional manner Attend all required services Keep staff informed of changes and trends regarding United Homecare Center LLC Direct planning, coordination, and implementation of all activities Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Experience as a manager in a home care agency or related experience Must be 18 years of age Current/Valid driver's license Current CPR/First Aid Certificate Current Physical Examination Current Negative TB Screen Satisfactory Fingerprint and Criminal Record Check Preferred Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Knowledge of Medicaid, DHR, DCH, and home care compliance standards Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and client-focused mindset Benefits Competitive compensation Professional growth opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Leadership role within a growing healthcare organization Why Join Us?
