Activities Director

Activity Director We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Director to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and facilitating meaningful activities and engagement opportunities that enhance the well-being and quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and passionate about working with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging programs tailored to the interests, abilities, and needs of residents, promoting social, physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being. Foster resident engagement by building relationships and encouraging participation in activities. Plan and coordinate events such as social gatherings, themed celebrations, wellness programs, arts and crafts, music therapy, and recreational outings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure activities align with residents' care plans and preferences. Adapt activities for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments, utilizing person-centered engagement techniques. Support volunteer and family involvement in lifestyle and enrichment programs. Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and program effectiveness. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to resident activities and engagement.
