Director of Recreational Therapist Wage:

  • 28/hr
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and implement Recreational Therapy programming in conjunction with NCTRC and Indiana Medicaid Waiver requirements and designations. Travel and work in client homes, the community, and/or one of our outpatient offices daily. Receive and implement feedback accurately and efficiently. Adapt activities to meet the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of each client. Document clients' progress, participation, and outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in recreational therapy. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality while promoting dignity, inclusion, and quality of life for all clients.
Qualifications:
Must have an active and valid CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) credential, accredited by the NCTRC Bachelor's Degree in RT Field or equivalent path Knowledge in conducting Assessments, Treatment Plan development, and providing activity resources Valid driver's license, registration, and insurance Reliable transportation Must be able to pass extensive background checks and drug screenings Day and evening availability needed Reliable attendance and punctuality High level of enthusiasm and energy Benefits Full-time eligibility at 30 hours/week Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Mileage reimbursement Comprehensive health/dental/vision, life, and disability (short/long-term) available 401K/Roth 401K to help you save for retirement You can work in a variety of settings, including home, community, and office/clinic Paid time off, holidays, and sick time Professional development allowance Focus on work-life balance Leadership development and mentorship opportunities Employee recognition and rewards program with tangible perks Our Values in Action Compassion
