Activities Coordinator (PRN)

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans is one of the premier behavioral health hospitals providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults over the age of 18. We provide comprehensive care that is designed for the individual. Located in Kenner, La. Responsibilities include some of the following: Assesses new patients within 72 hours of admission Provides direct patient group treatment Writes progress notes for one to one and group sessions according to policies and procedures Provides comprehensive therapeutic activities consistent with each patient's active treatment program Please apply if you have the following qualifications:

Education :

Master's Degree in related field (counseling, recreation therapy) preferred

Experience :

At least one (1) year of experience providing group therapy in a hospital setting with psychiatric patients preferred

Additional Requirements :

Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment
