Full Job Description Job Summary:
XC Art Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Arts Program Coordinator to support creative programs, competitions, exhibitions, educational initiatives, website updates, and administrative projects. This is a part-time, in-person position based in Woburn, MA. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects, communicating in both Mandarin Chinese and English, and supporting a wide range of creative and organizational tasks. The position primarily supports XC Art Center operations and may also assist with selected projects organized by NextGen InterArts Foundation (NIF).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update website content using Wix Create and update visual materials using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools Support arts programs, competitions, exhibitions, educational initiatives, and special projects Coordinate project timelines, submissions, documentation, and records Assist with email communications, participant support, and general program coordination Organize digital assets, files, and project materials Support social media and website content updates Assist with general administrative and program coordination tasks
Required Qualifications:
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Experience using Canva Experience updating website content using Wix Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Project coordination experience Contest, event, or program administration experience Data and document management experience Social media or website support experience Experience with Figma or UI/UX design Experience working with nonprofit organizations Experience working with youth education programs
Schedule:
Part-time (20-25 hours per week) Flexible weekday schedule (4-5 days per week) Occasional weekend support for special programs or events
Location:
XC Art Center 330 W Cummings Park Woburn, MA 01801 This is an in-person position. Reliable transportation to Woburn is strongly preferred. Public transportation access to our studio can be limited, particularly on weekends.
Compensation:
Starting at $25 per hour, based on experience.
