Join Our Team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator! Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about bringing joy and purpose to seniors each day? Harmony Place is looking for a compassionate and organized Life Enrichment Coordinator to help create meaningful experiences for our residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you play a key role in enhancing resident wellbeing, engagement, and quality of life through purposeful programming and compassionate connection. What You'll Do (Your Everyday Impact) Create Meaningful Resident Experiences Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities, programs, and events for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Develop activities that support residents' physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive wellbeing. Coordinate group activities, outings, holiday celebrations, themed events, and 1:1 resident engagement. Encourage resident participation while respecting individual preferences and abilities. Welcome new residents and help them feel comfortable and connected within the community. Build Relationships & Resident Connections Spend quality 1:1 time with residents through conversation, sensory activities, redirection, and individualized engagement. Learn residents' backgrounds, interests, hobbies, and personal histories to create meaningful experiences. Assist residents with mail, email, communication, and social connection as needed. Help celebrate resident birthdays and special milestones. Communicate resident concerns, behavior changes, or wellbeing updates to leadership and care teams promptly. Promote Teamwork & Community Engagement Help create a warm, positive, and engaging environment for residents, families, and staff. Recruit and coordinate volunteers, entertainers, and community groups for events and programming. Assist with decorating and creating festive seasonal and holiday displays throughout the community. Maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and resident participation documentation. Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives. What You Bring to the Team Credentials & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in activities, event planning, customer service, senior living, healthcare, or recreation preferred. Memory Care training or experience preferred. Valid driver's license preferred (where applicable). Skills & Strengths Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team. Positive attitude with a passion for enriching the lives of seniors. Physical & Schedule Requirements Ability to lift at least 30 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and assisting with activity setup. Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and programming.
