Position Description/Qualifications:

Playing, coaching and/or advising experience necessary. Ability to formulate and implement practice plans and schedules. Community & Stakeholder Engagement Represent Lakeville Area Schools with professionalism and integrity in all community interactions. Build positive relationships with students, families, and community supporters. Support program efforts such as youth camps, clinics, and community service events. Serve as a role model and ambassador for the district's mission: Student Focused, Community Connected. Professional Growth & Conduct Participate in meetings, professional development, and coaching education as required. Continue learning and refining coaching methods consistent with best practices and district expectations. Demonstrate ethical relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders. Display modesty in success and graciousness in defeat. Support the Head Coach and Activities Director in providing a program that reflects excellence in both education and competition.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior participation, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred. Knowledge of rules, fundamentals, and safety principles of the sport or activity. MSHSL Coaching Certification required (or ability to obtain upon employment). CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively & positively with students, parents, staff, & community members.

COMPENSATION

• Stipend position per Education Minnesota - Lakeville Collective Bargaining Agreement (Schedule C).
