The Minnesota Veterans Home•Minneapolis is looking for a full-time Recreation Therapist. This position will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized, goal oriented recreational and leisure programming for all residents in assigned caseload. Areas to be addressed include physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial capabilities. This position may work holidays and weekends, as needed. Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certification or ability to attain certification by hire date. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a long term care setting. Experience working in a dementia/memory care unit within long term care.
