Activities Director

Join our team as an Activities Director at Beehive Homes of Farmington, where we specialize in providing exceptional senior care services within a home community setting. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.

• Duties:

• Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of senior residents.
• Coordinate and lead recreational programs, social events, and outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely execution of planned activities and events.
• Communicate regularly with residents, families, and staff to gather feedback and suggestions for activity planning.
• Utilize expertise in dementia care, assisted living practices, recreational therapy, caregiving, and long-term care to create enriching experiences for residents.

• Experience:

• Proven experience in senior care or related fields is preferred; however, candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with schedule management and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of best practices in dementia care, assisted living facilities, recreational therapy, and long-term care is advantageous.
• A background in creating engaging activities that promote overall well-being in a senior care setting is highly desirable.
