Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Treat individuals supported by Tobosa with dignity and respect, particularly in the areas of confidentiality, choice, privacy, positive training methodology, cultural sensitivity, age appropriateness, and ego development. 2. Understand, reference, and comply with all applicable Tobosa policies and procedures related to this position. 3. Report to work on time, adhere to assigned schedules, and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure positive participant outcomes. 4. Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. 5. Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors regarding participant needs and program matters. 6. Accept supervisory guidance and direction and use feedback constructively. 7. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures; remain alert to safety concerns and immediately report known or suspected issues. Participant safety is of the utmost importance. 8. Maintain current certifications and remain up to date on all Tobosa- and DDSD-required trainings. 9. Provide transportation for individuals supported by Tobosa when necessary. 10. Follow the established chain of command. 11. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work; exercise discretion; and use independent judgment. - ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, community partners, and stakeholders. 2. Educate the public about agency services, activities, and events. 3. Collaborate with therapists, other agencies, and community groups to plan outings, activities, and events. 4. Solicit feedback from individuals regarding preferred activities, events, and outings. 5. Plan and develop activities, events, and outings that support individuals in achieving outcomes identified in their Individual Support Plans (ISPs). 6. Coordinate quarterly out-of-town trips, including planning destinations, meals, transportation, lodging, and budgets. 7. Plan, coordinate, and attend fundraising activities. 8. Attend activities, events, and outings with participants, encouraging engagement, participation, and socialization. 9. Decorate the facility for seasons and holidays; coordinate annual holiday celebrations and monthly birthday parties. 10. Maintain and manage an organized schedule of activities and events. 11. Create and distribute a monthly calendar of events to all Tobosa employees via email. 12. Assist teams in developing weekly schedules. 13. Ensure participant safety by structuring activities, events, and outings in accordance with DD Waiver Standards and participant abilities. 14. Purchase supplies for activities, events, and facility needs. 15. Organize and maintain activity supplies and building supplies.
