Schedule:
8 hours of Community Habilitation at $26 an her, as well as an additional 8 hours of Respite at $19 an hour. Young lady is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4:30p, as well as weekends. There will be more availability when school is not in session.Job Overview:
Looking for a reliable, compassionate person with experience with people with Developmental Disabilities to work with a young lady in Rochester. This role focuses on supporting independence, building life skills, and encouraging meaningful participation in the community in a respectful, person-centered way. Goals include Safety Skills, Money Management, Social Skills, and Community Recreation.Additional information:
16 year old girl who is a fun-loving and enjoys fashion, music, dance, and crafts. She enjoys singing, ice skating, swimming, and gymnastics. She communicates well and is working on socializing and properly expressing herself.Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and communication are essential for success in this role.
