CCH Healthcare Position Summary Fountain View, a CCH Healthcare community, is seeking an energetic, creative, and resident‑focused Activities Director (Life Enrichment Director) to lead and elevate our activities and engagement program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enhancing quality of life, fostering meaningful connections, and creating an environment where residents feel inspired, engaged, and valued every day. The Activities Director plays a critical role in supporting residents' emotional, social, physical, and cognitive well‑being through innovative programming, community involvement, and personalized engagement. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and direct a comprehensive activities and life enrichment program that meets the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents Ensure activities comply with state and federal regulations while aligning with CCH Healthcare standards Create engaging daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars that reflect resident interests and abilities Coordinate group events, individual activities, special celebrations, outings, and intergenerational programs Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, and leadership teams to support resident‑centered care Assess resident preferences and abilities and adapt programming accordingly Supervise, train, and motivate activities staff and volunteers Foster strong relationships with residents' families and members of the local Cincinnati community Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to activities participation and outcomes Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and resources effectively Qualifications Prior experience as an Activities Director, Life Enrichment Director, or similar role in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, or senior living setting strongly preferred Knowledge of Ohio and federal regulations related to activities programming in healthcare facilities Certification as an Activities Director (or eligibility to obtain) preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging, inclusive, and meaningful programs Compassionate, resident‑focused approach with a genuine passion for senior care Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends for events Why Join Fountain View & CCH Healthcare Opportunity to make a meaningful daily impact on residents' lives Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Competitive compensation and benefits package Room for professional growth within a respected healthcare organization Stable, mission‑driven organization dedicated to quality care and excellence About Fountain View Fountain View is a trusted long‑term care community in Cincinnati, Ohio , proudly operated by CCH Healthcare .
