We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activities Director to lead our resident engagement program and create meaningful experiences that enhance quality of life. Position Summary The Activities Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive activities program that meets the social, emotional, physical, and recreational needs of our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, organizing events, and creating a vibrant community atmosphere. Responsibilities Develop and oversee a monthly activities calendar. Plan and facilitate individual and group activities, events, and outings. Encourage resident participation and engagement. Coordinate volunteer programs and community involvement. Maintain activity documentation and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident well-being. Organize holiday celebrations, special events, and family activities. Manage activity supplies and department budget. Qualifications Previous experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lead groups and motivate resident participation. Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality. Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to activities programming preferred. What We Offer Competitive pay:
