JAG Healthcare proudly provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to communities throughout Ohio while creating a warm, homelike environment for residents and staff alike. Our smaller, community-centered facilities allow team members the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, spend quality time with residents, and provide compassionate care without the fast-paced feeling of constantly rushing from room to room. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with residents to help maintain or improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life through restorative nursing programs and therapeutic activities. You will collaborate with nursing staff and therapy teams to encourage residents to safely reach and maintain their highest level of functioning. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, encouraging others, and making a meaningful difference in residents' daily lives. Responsibilities may include:
Assisting residents with restorative programs designed to maintain strength, mobility, and independence Supporting ambulation, range of motion exercises, transfers, and daily restorative activities as directed Observing and documenting resident progress and reporting concerns to the care team Encouraging participation while promoting resident dignity, safety, and confidence Working collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams to support resident goals Why Join JAG Healthcare? QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Must possess a current certification from NBCOT if required by the state. An active state license is required. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
