Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Part -Time to Full-Time Activities Director to design and implement programs that encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment, and enhance daily living skills for our residents. If you are passionate about creating a vibrant community and making a difference in the lives of elderly individuals, we want to hear from you!
Primary Responsibilities:
Create and lead/coordinate engaging programs and activities that bring joy and enrichment to our residents' lives. Foster a warm and inclusive community environment. Maintain progress notes on residents through an electronic records platform. Develop and implement effective resident care plans according to state guidelines. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care. Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and outings. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs. Adjust activities to meet the needs and interests of residents with varying levels of ability and mobility.
Minimum Requirements:
Certification as an Activity Director ( we offer certification training !). Certified Nursing Assistant ( We offer certification training) Excellent creativity and communication skills. A genuine passion for and interest in elderly individuals. Experience in developing and executing resident care plans. A customer service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a similar role or with elderly individuals. Knowledge of state guidelines and regulations related to resident care plans. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic records platforms.
