- Full-time We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Activities Coordinator to lead resident engagement and life enrichment programs across our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care communities.
In this role, you will create meaningful opportunities that promote socialization, physical activity, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being for residents with a wide range of abilities and interests. Responsibilities Plan, organize and lead a variety of engaging daily, weekly, and monthly activities including games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, outings, and special events based on resident interests and abilities Develop and implement individualized activity plans, including programs that support residents with dementia or memory care needs Foster meaningful connections through group activities and one-on-one engagement Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed during activities, ensuring dignity and respect Create and maintain monthly activity calendars and manage daily schedules effectively Document resident participation and maintain required records to support care planning and family communication Collaborate with care team members to promote residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being Serve as a supportive presence and advocate for resident engagement and quality of life Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare preferred. Background in senior activities, recreational therapy, dementia care, or memory care strongly desired. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan events and manage schedules effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff members, and external partners. Knowledge of assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting dignity and independence. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team dedicated to enhancing resident quality of life.
