Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Supportive Leadership Team Position Summary The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive needs of our residents. Responsibilities Develop and oversee a dynamic activities program for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents Plan and coordinate individual and group activities, special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings Complete resident assessments and develop individualized activity plans Maintain activity calendars and communicate programming effectively Recruit, train, and supervise activity staff and volunteers Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Maintain documentation in accordance with regulations Manage departmental budget, supplies, and resources Qualifications Experience in activities, recreation therapy, social services, therapeutic recreation, or a related field preferred Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred Knowledge of state and federal regulations Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Certification as an Activity Director or eligibility to obtain certification preferred Ideal Candidate Brings enthusiasm and creativity Has a genuine passion for serving seniors Builds strong relationships with residents, families, and team members Is organized, motivated, and results-driven The Greenery Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
