Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to enrich the lives of residents in a vibrant retirement community. In this role, you will design, organize, and facilitate engaging recreational activities tailored to the diverse interests and needs of seniors. Your enthusiasm and creativity will foster a lively, inclusive environment that promotes socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of older adults by providing stimulating programs that support their physical, emotional, and social health. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, outings, and special events aligned with residents' interests and abilities. Foster social interaction by encouraging participation and facilitating group dynamics in a respectful and supportive manner. Manage scheduling logistics for events and coordinate transportation or outings when necessary to enhance resident engagement outside the facility Strong background in senior care and home & community care experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with older adults facing aging issues. Familiarity with scheduling management tools and documentation procedures related to recreational programming.
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
