Job Description

Adelphoi has a full-time Therapist position that may be a perfect fit for you!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide therapeutic treatment of the youth who are placed at Adelphoi; to ensure a safe therapeutic environment, and to carry out all duties in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and requirements and in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Adelphoi Village.

Develops, implements, evaluates, and monitors the individual treatment plan for youth in regard to social, emotional, medical, and mental needs.

Provides individual and group therapy to the assigned youth.

Completes assessments, effective treatment plans, progress notes, and the youths reports, within the required time frame.

Maintains safe, therapeutic environment through use of programmatic methods.

Participates in assigned on-call responsibilities.

Communicates with the families, community, education, and court officials regularly in regard to youth and services.

Documents required information (i.e., medical and daily logs, progress reports, Electronic Health Record, etc.) and completes required reports in timely manner.

Intervenes in crisis situations with appropriate counseling as necessary, including Safe Crisis Management.

Embrace Trauma-Informed Care as a guide for creating a safe and non-violent environment for the clients in our care and the staff who care for them.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. 2-3 years professional work experience in the field of human services, relevant experience with children youth and families within social service environment required.
