Memory Care Director

Memory Care Director (LifeStories Director) IntegraCare , manager of Senior Living, Independent Living & Memory Care Communities, is looking for a dedicated, creative and caring individual to manage our Memory Care Program at our premier community, Chestnut Ridge .

Salary:

$60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year +

Bonus Potential Responsibilities:

Provide active and passive, group and individual activities that enhance the lives of the Residents, allowing them to play an active role in society. Develop, organize and implement a well rounded activities program that enhances the lives of the residents. Must have extensive knowledge of therapeutic recreational techniques and posses the ability to interact positively with outside organizations to promote positive community relations. Must display creativity, leadership skills, and motivational drive.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required ( a bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or a similar field is strongly preferred ). A minimum of one year prior experience in the Recreational Therapy field ( preferably Memory Care/Dementia specific ) is required ( preference will be given to those with experience in a supervisory/managerial role ). A valid driver's license is required with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period as determined by insurance industry standards. Gerontology experience is strongly preferred. CRS is preferred. EOE
