Hopewell School 602 Garfield St Oxford, PA 19363 Other $1,987.00 - $2,241.00 per unit Hopewell School Posted 5/28/2026 Summary The Intramural Director at Hopewell School is responsible for overseeing and managing the intramural sports programs for students. This role involves the planning, organization, and implementation of various recreational activities and sporting events to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and school spirit among students. The Intramural Director will work closely with faculty, students, and parents to create a positive and engaging environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for sports and physical activity. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive intramural sports program that meets the needs and interests of students. Organize and oversee intramural leagues, tournaments, and special events throughout the academic year. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer coaches and student leaders to assist with program execution. Coordinate schedules, facilities, and equipment for all intramural activities. Promote the intramural program through various communication channels, including newsletters, social media, and school announcements. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the intramural program, making adjustments as necessary to enhance participation and engagement. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing rules and regulations and providing first aid when needed. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among participants. Maintain accurate records of participation, equipment inventory, and program budgets. Collaborate with school administration and physical education staff to align intramural activities with overall school goals and objectives. Requirements Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students and volunteers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of various sports and recreational activities, along with an understanding of safety protocols. Ability to work flexible hours CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Passion for promoting physical activity and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students.
