Assistant Activity Director Job Summary:

The Assistant Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents, as well as assisting with the development and implementation of the activity program. You will work closely with the Activity Director, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.

Assistant Activity Director Responsibilities:

Plan and implement recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including Arts and Crafts, Music Therapy, and Physical Therapy Assist the Activity Director in developing and implementing the activity program Create and maintain activity logs to track resident participation and engagement Assure activities are adapted to meet the needs and abilities of each resident Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that activities align with resident goals and care plans Monitor and report any changes in resident cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
