Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Performing Arts Consultant to inspire and guide Missisquoi Valley School District's new traveling performing arts program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in theater, directing, filmmaking, dance, theater, and/or related disciplines, fostering creativity, technical skill, and confidence. As a Performing Arts Consultant, you will develop tailored summer programs and serve as a knowledgeable resource for the program's inaugural season. Your energy, communication skills, and love for the arts will help elevate performances and cultivate a thriving artistic community. Responsibilities Design comprehensive performing arts programs; Provide expert guidance on developing a performing arts program and its purchasing and budgeting; Collaborate with educators, directors, and performers to develop innovative productions or training curricula. Qualifications Proven experience in theater production or related performing arts disciplines. Knowledge of theater arts, working with children, stage management, and performance development. Exceptional writing skills for creating lesson plans, program materials, or performance critiques.
