Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Memory Care Program Director to lead our specialized memory care community. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee engaging programs tailored to residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. Your leadership will ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centered care while fostering a lively and supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and joy. Experience Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on memory care or Alzheimer's/dementia care. Strong background in senior care, caregiving, or long-term care management. Skilled in event planning, schedule management, and coordinating community activities that stimulate cognitive function. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers. Required Skills & Qualifications Must be a licensed registered nurse or practical nurse 3-5 years of experience in a skilled healthcare facility or retirement facility preferred but not required Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills Basic computer skills required Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements as required by community policies Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must enjoy working with the senior community
