Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute ideas and thoughts towards the development of new programs. Meets with director to plan daily activity & develop monthly calendar. Maintain program on assigned units along with appropriate documentation. Contribute to plan of care as required and assist in assessing activity program as required. Maintain integrity and care of activity materials. Assist in all programs, encourage and assist residents in attending. Participate in fundraising events, volunteer programs and maintain communication with director of needs, changes ,concerns with residents. Attend meetings and committees as assigned. Perform functioning assistance as required to assist in resident care and safety during activity. Assist volunteers in becoming familiar with policy & procedure and help maintain a successful working relationship with residents. In an emergency may be required to perform functions to maintain reasonable function of the facility and safety to residents. All other duties assigned by director.
