Job Description

The Town of Elkton is accepting applications for the position of Parks & Recreation Director. This is a full-time, exempt position responsible for the administration, planning, and operation of the Town's parks, recreation programs, and facilities, including the Elkton Area Community Center. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in parks and recreation, public administration, physical education, or a related field is preferred. Minimum qualifications include at least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in parks and recreation or a related field with supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Starting salary is negotiable, depending upon qualifications. The Town of Elkton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
