Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Memory Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing person-centered engagement programs for residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other forms of cognitive impairment. This position promotes meaningful experiences that support residents' emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and cognitive well-being fostering dignity, purpose and connection. A minimum of two years' experience in memory care, activities, recreation therapy, life enrichment, senior living, or a related life. Experience working with older adults living with dementia. Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) required. Strong understanding of person-centered dementia care practices. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead group programs and build meaningful relationships with residents and families. CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Experience working in a healthcare or long-time care setting. Experience coordinating volunteers, staff, and community partners.
