Life Enrichment Specialist Chuckanut Ridge Assisted Living | Bellingham, WA Full-Time Do you believe that growing older should be filled with purpose, adventure, connection, and joy? Chuckanut Ridge Assisted Living, a vibrant senior living community nestled in Bellingham's beautiful Sehome neighborhood, is looking for an energetic, creative, and compassionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to help our residents live their very best lives. This is much more than planning bingo. We're looking for someone who can inspire wellness through movement, lifelong learning, meaningful experiences, and genuine relationships. Every day is an opportunity to create moments that matter. What You'll Do Plan and lead engaging daily activities that residents actually look forward to. Develop wellness-focused programming including fitness, balance, stretching, and active living. Organize community outings to parks, restaurants, museums, concerts, and local events. Coordinate educational presentations, guest speakers, and lifelong learning opportunities. Create opportunities for residents to share their talents, volunteer, mentor, and find purpose. Celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special events with creativity and enthusiasm. Build relationships with residents and learn what makes each person's life meaningful. Collaborate with families, volunteers, community organizations, and other departments to create exceptional experiences. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Creative, upbeat, and organized. A natural people person who enjoys connecting with older adults. Comfortable leading groups and encouraging participation. Passionate about health, wellness, and active aging. Flexible, dependable, and a positive team player. Able to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to our community. Experience in senior living, recreation, education, fitness, hospitality, or event planning is helpful—but just as important is your enthusiasm, compassion, and desire to make a difference.
