Summary We are seeking a passionate, creative, and client-centered Recreational Therapist who thrives in a flexible, community-based setting. We are looking for a self-motivated practitioner who is both compassionate and professional—someone who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team. Responsibilities Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to client needs Facilitating 1:1 sessions in-home, in the community, or via telehealth Promoting functional independence, leisure awareness, and social participation Collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with agency and funding source requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Recreational Therapy or a related field. Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively. Experience in behavioral management techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
