POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves as a key leader in the work of the YMCA, a nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Director provides strategic oversight and operational leadership for all Lake Wenatchee YMCA operations. Responsibilities include the development and management of site operations, year-round facility rentals, residential camp programs, staffing, budgets, marketing, and philanthropic initiatives. This role ensures high-quality, safe, and mission-aligned experiences while supporting the long-term sustainability and stewardship of the Lake Wenatchee YMCA property and programs. The Director works collaboratively with YMCA leadership, community partners, and volunteers to expand program reach, strengthen relationships, and advance the YMCA's mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Promote a positive environment that fosters fun, safety, and our YMCA values, while upholding modeling, and promoting safety and program policies, personnel policies, and the YMCA Code of Conduct. Generate revenue to support Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp through user groups and facility rentals. Secure group and event rentals. Facilitate and/or secure staff for team building retreat sessions. Ensure rentals are adequately staffed, and each group receives a quality experience. Design and implement a marketing plan to increase awareness of campus opportunities. Prepare and analyze participation trends. Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies. Work with the Marketing Coordinator to promote rentals using a variety of marketing outlets. Maintains relationships with participating families, local school committees, school administrators, teachers and students to promote camp and trip programs. Oversee property development and maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained facilities, while supporting long-term planning and stewardship of organizational assets. Design, deliver and evaluate safe, high-quality rental experiences aligned with YMCA values while ensuring compliance, strong participant experiences, efficient registration and accurate recordkeeping. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and support facility staff and volunteers to ensure effective operations and high-quality service delivery. Manage financial and fund development activities, including budgeting, vendor contracts, and support for long-term fundraising strategies in partnership with CEO and YMCA leadership. Observe participant behavior, assess appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, apply appropriate management techniques. Assist with any Wenatchee Valley YMCA special events or programs; in particular, membership, program or major donor events such as the Annual Campaign and Community Benefit Events. Serve on LWY Camp Advisory and Outdoor Recreation Program Committees as assigned.? Coordinate and engage volunteers.
