Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as an Activity Aide and become a vital part of enriching the lives of residents in our Crisis Stabalization Facility. In this role, you will design, coordinate, and facilitate engaging recreational activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, supported, and inspired to live their best lives every day. Responsibilities Plan and implement a variety of engaging activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and care needs, including recreational therapy sessions and social events. Coordinate with casemanagers and other staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans, especially for residents with dementia or memory impairments. Foster meaningful social interactions by encouraging participation in group events. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of planned events while accommodating residents' routines. Maintain accurate records of activities conducted, resident participation, and feedback to continually improve program quality. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning, recreational therapy, or mental health environments such as assisted living or nursing homes. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and team members. Background in caregiving or caregiving-related fields such as social work or senior care is highly desirable. Ability to adapt activities for diverse cognitive and physical abilities while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere.
