Hours/Week Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) for a travel assignment in Cordova, Alaska. This opportunity is ideal for nurses looking to work in a close-knit community healthcare environment while enjoying Alaska's scenic outdoor lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to long term care residents Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR records Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
Requirements:
