Join our team in Bethel, AK as a hands-on nursing leader responsible for keeping a busy unit running smoothly and delivering compassionate, high-quality care. This contract/travel role starts ASAP, runs Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (days), and pays $3,078 per 36-hour week. What you'll do Oversee daily operations of your assigned nursing unit and make sure patient care is safe and effective. Manage staffing, schedules, and staff performance while supporting professional development and competencies. Monitor patient flow, outcomes, and quality metrics and lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Work closely with physicians and hospital leadership to coordinate care and resolve operational challenges. Handle budgetary and resource decisions and ensure regulatory compliance. What we're looking for Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred). BLS required; ACLS preferred. Several years of clinical nursing experience, with prior leadership or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills—and a commitment to mentoring staff and improving patient care.
