Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in our Oldpark Practice on a temporary basis for 9-12 months to cover a period of maternity. The successful applicant will work 24 hours per week from 8:45am-5:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Both Trainee and Qualified Dental Nurses are welcome to apply! Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital.
Essential Criteria:
Fully qualified dental nurse or be willing to complete a NEBDN diploma in Dental Nursing. Previous experience in a customer facing role Be flexible to meet the needs of the practice The ability to work as part of a team Trainee Dental Nurses MUST have obtained both Maths and English GCSE's (Grades A-C) or Essential Skills in Maths, English and ICT in order to be eligible for a place on the Clear Dental Academy Course.
Desirable Criteria:
Registered with the General Dental Council Have completed a NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing Experience of IV/RA Sedation
