Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Acute Care RN- Med/Surg (Acute Care) for an exciting opportunity in Sitka, AK. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments across adult, pediatric, orthopedic, and mother/baby med-surg populations Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital policy Monitor patient conditions and escalate care when appropriate Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge planning Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered nursing care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the EHR Follow infection control, medication safety, and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education activities Float to other inpatient units as needed Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Current unrestricted Alaska RN license required BLS certification (AHA) required ACLS certification (AHA) required PALS certification (AHA) required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage fluctuating patient acuity in inpatient settings Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills Proficiency with electronic health records Strong prioritization, organization, and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications Med-Surg experience preferred Experience with adult, pediatric, orthopedic, or mother/baby patient populations preferred For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
