Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulator for an exciting opportunity in Sitka, AK. Responsibilities Perform preoperative and intraoperative patient assessments Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital policy Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Coordinate surgical workflow outside the sterile field Ensure surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies are prepared for procedures Complete surgical safety checklists and "time out" procedures Serve as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process Document intraoperative events accurately within the electronic health record Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff Maintain infection prevention and surgical safety standards Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Current Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required BLS certification (AHA) required ACLS certification (AHA) required PALS certification (AHA) required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Strong clinical judgment and perioperative nursing skills Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical workflows Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Proficiency with electronic health record documentation Ability to work effectively in high-acuity surgical environments Preferred Qualifications Operating Room nursing experience preferred Experience in perioperative or surgical services environments preferred For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
