July 2026 We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in beautiful Southeast Alaska. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality patient care across all age groups. Job Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Qualifications Active Alaska RN License required BLS certification required PALS certification required ACLS certification preferred Emergency Department experience preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs Assignment Details 13-week contract Night shifts Holiday coverage may be required Cerner EMR experience preferred Why Apply?
