Job Description

Overview Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care (Travel) in Wrangell, Alaska. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,581-$2,692 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week.
Shift:
3x12-hour nights.
Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility (long-term care). This travel temporary assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

3x12-hour night shifts Start date: 07/20/2026 Facility/work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (Long-Term Care) Responsibilities Provide and coordinate nursing care for residents in long-term care per physicians' orders and the nursing process. Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor responses and document findings in the medical record. Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans; collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to meet resident needs. Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs/techs and other staff; ensure safe, evidence-based care and infection control. Educate residents and families about conditions, treatments, and care plans; participate in discharge planning and post-discharge instructions. Document resident progress, reassess needs, and communicate changes during care conferences and shift handoffs; maintain resident confidentiality.
