Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this energetic role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while working closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as HealthFusion. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management following HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, suturing, nail removal, and procedures requiring sterile processing and infection control protocols. Educate patients on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, discharge planning, family planning, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR/EHR system to ensure compliance with medical records standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management plans. Support infection control initiatives and participate in quality improvement programs aligned with NCQA standards and ICD coding practices (ICD-9 & ICD-10). Requirements Valid RN license in good standing with current state certification. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture, IV insertion/infusion, and injections. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics ( toddler through teen), geriatrics (memory & dementia care), behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and patient education; ability to work effectively in urgent care clinics. $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
