Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Deliver specialized, critical care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a registered nurse in the Cath Lab. This contract opportunity offers an engaging role for professionals who excel in cardiac procedures and thrive in collaborative clinical teams.
Schedule & Shift Details:
40 hours per week Four 10-hour shifts 8-week contract 8 days of on-call coverage, including one weekend every four weeks
Required Skills & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience Previous Cath Lab travel assignment experience preferred Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver proficient, patient-centered care during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout procedures, anticipating and responding to clinical changes Collaborate efficiently with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other medical professionals to ensure optimal outcomes Administer medications, start IVs, and ensure up-to-date documentation in Cerner Maintain Cath Lab readiness by adhering to policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols Provide patient and family education pre- and post-procedure to promote comfort and understanding This is a valuable opportunity to expand your Cath Lab experience and enhance your nursing career in a supportive, skill-driven environment.
