Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role where your expertise in medical-surgical nursing makes an immediate impact on patient care delivery. Healthcare professionals with a background in nursing—specifically RN-MS—are needed for a contract assignment supporting a busy medical-surgical unit. This position places you at the heart of fast-paced acute care, focusing on providing exceptional, compassionate support to patients during a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum credentials: BLS and ACLS certifications Demonstrated experience working with Cerner electronic medical records Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred Seeking candidates with a permanent address located at least 50 miles from the facility Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding rapidly to changes Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and provide wound care as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate ongoing patient care Document all patient information accurately in the Cerner EMR system Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and ongoing health management Support a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to all facility protocols and standards This contract assignment provides an excellent opportunity to expand your skills, work alongside knowledgeable colleagues, and make a meaningful difference for patients in a vibrant healthcare setting.
